Tell the President to Take the Lead on Clean Energy

  • by: Stella Gamboni

The election was a resounding victory for clean energy candidates across the country in the face of billions spent by dirty fossil fuel interests.

Just yesterday, President Obama spoke emphatically about the need to address climate disruption in response to a question about Hurricane Sandy. This is the time for President Obama to lead our country in the fight on climate change.

Tell the White House that it's time to take dirty fossil fuels head on and prioritize clean energy and efficiency.

Urge President Obama to fight climate change by cleaning up dirty power plants, building on energy efficiency innovations, saying no to dirty fuels like tar sands, and scaling up clean energy.

We need strong leadership on the climate crisis. From the absolute devastation in the wake of Sandy to droughts, heat waves and record temperatures across the country, the dangers of climate disruption are all too real for millions of families.

Thanks for helping to protect our world.
