Protest National Public Radio Promoting Fracking Through Underwriters' Ads

Currently, an insidious underwriter's ad is running on NPR about a farmer in Ohio supplementing his income with gas extraction on his land. "Think about it at Thinkaboutit.org".  The tone is casual, inviting, financially seductive. This is fracked gas, the extraction process which uses obscene amounts of water, is contaminating aquifers, dumping millions of gallons of scarce water laced with high dose chemicals down wells, has been implicated in earthquakes and has poisoned both people and livestock.  Never once was the word fracking or its euphemisms used.  Tell NPR to show ethical conduct in their underwriter acceptances and take this and all others of its kind.off the air.
