Stop Mandatory Animal Testing in China

Chinese law requires any company that wants to register and sell cosmetics in China to adhere to their animal testing regulations. China requires the companies to send their product samples to laboratories where toxicological tests are conducted on animals. There is no justification for performing these painful experiments on animals to test cosmetic products. The existence of cruelty-free beauty companies in the U.S. shows the success and safety of non-animal testing.

China’s State Food and Drug Administration has been working on approving a draft proposal to approve the use of non-animal cosmetics tests. Please sign this petition to encourage China to keep working toward cruelty-free tests and to end mandatory animal cosmetics testing altogether.
