This petition is to change and enforce a law making it so animal owners cannot in-home euthanize their animals. Rather it be a "One shot" process or not, still illegal. This law needs to be enforced to protect many animals from corrupt animal owners. Animals have just as much feels as any humans do, in fact dog are equally vigil to emotions as we are. Dog's are normally considered as "property" though, undergoing adoption is a lengthy process; same as though adopting a human.
If this petition gets passed that would mean every dog/animal's voice is heard. not one nor any will get abused abandoned, nor killed without serious proper consequences get enforced. If the defendant pleads not guilty with legitimate "alibi" they need proof; there is no reason for in-home euthenization.
If the defendant pleads poverty--unable to provide income to properly "execute" the animal fines or jail time should be addressed; if complete source of income is intact with full security, extreme fines and proper jail sentence should be intact.
Animal's cannot speak for them selves, we need to be their voice. We need to address this issue head on; work together. Signing this petition will give them a voice they have never had!
