Demand for a Sustainable Grocery Store

Tackle the root of food insecurity, sign this petition to hold the government accountable for the food waste issue, this would mean the biggest step towards a revolution.
Grocery stores in the U.S waste up to 30% of incoming food. This means farmers and consumers are not utilizing the resources available. While 35 million Americans suffer from food insecurity, 80 percent throw excellent food away.
Though in some states, laws have been put into place such as the "Universal Recycling Law" there need to be more action throughout the whole country that also takes grocery stores for account. New innovative thinking could be the biggest impact the food industry could see.
