Stop Using Soft Core Porn to Sell Glasses

More and more, children are exposed to the slightly disguised pornography in advertising. This commercial for Pearle Vision is a prime example. Not only does the woman present a dominatrix personality and a porn-star voice, but this commercial also sells glasses by telling women they are only attractive if they are "sexy" (and sexy by the standards of the porn industry).

The entire commercial can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTuyoOyWh0c

This commercial airs at all times of the day and on channels that are aimed at children, including Nickelodeon.

Using porn to sell everyday items like glasses desensitizes all of us, but especially our children, to pornography, the exploitation of women, and the harm that this "porn culture" does to the self-esteem of young woman.

Sign today and tell Pearle Vision that porn does not sell glasses! Let's tell the advertisers that we are sick of being force fed sex for every item they try to sell.
