Thirteen Puppies Were Found Covered in Feces in a 104 Degree Garage

On a hot summer day in Lee County, Florida, neighbors heard whining coming from a nearby garage. It continued throughout the entire day, and they became concerned because temperatures were so high. So they called the local authorities.

And thank goodness they did, because inside they found 13 puppies with no access to water. The recorded temperature inside the garage was 104 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sign the petition now to hold the owner of these puppies responsible!

Not only were the puppies suffering in sweltering heat without water; they were also covered in feces and dirt. They had no access to food either.

These poor puppies absolutely could have died in that garage if a good samaritan hadn't called for help.

Why were they left alone in an unventilated, unairconditioned area? Why were they so filthy and clearly lacking the care they needed? The whole situation reeks of neglect.

The owner of the home and the puppies has been detained on charges of animal neglect, but it is still the responsibility of local authorities to conduct a thorough investigation and apply the right sentencing.

We need to know how long these puppies suffered, if there are other animals that were also neglected, and if there were other people involved. We also must demand that this woman be banned from ever owning animals again -- if this is how she thinks defenseless creatures should be treated, she should lose the privilege of pet ownership forever.

Sign the petition to demand a thorough investigation and a ban on animal ownership for the abuser of these puppies!
