Al Franken -- Please resign amid sexual misconduct allegations!

Five women have accused Sen. Al Franken of sexual misconduct.

One woman says Franken grabbed her buttocks in 2010 while taking a photo at the Minnesota State Fair, while he was in office. Another woman, Leeann Tweeden, a local radio news anchor in California, said that Franken forcibly kissed and groped her in 2006, when Franken was a comedian. And an Army veteran says Franken groped her in December 2003 while she was deployed in Kuwait -- she says Franken cupped her breast during a photo op.

Franken faces an investigation by the Senate Ethics Committee. But while other men accused of serial misconduct -- including Matt Lauer, Harvey Weinstein, and Louis C.K. -- swiftly lost their jobs, for some reason, politicians remain shielded from consequences.

Please sign now to send the following message to the Senator, asking him to resign:

    Dear Senator Al Franken --

As much as we love your overall political leanings and work in The Senate these past many years, we the undersigned with resignation and sadness ask that you show great strength and professionalism and resign due to the recent revelations of questionable judgement and character.

Allow Governor Dayton to appoint someone to fill out your term and work on any fixing of relationships you need to make with your family and friends.

    Please resign. Thank you.
