Don't Pave 10 - Oppose the Easement Request for Canal Shores Hole 10

This Thursday, the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD) is considering a proposal that would allow an easement for a road in Wilmette that would wipe out an ecological treasure in our area containing century old oak trees and harm local wetlands.  Wetlands are some of our most valuable resources -- they provide homes for wildlife, maintain water quality, and protect us from flooding and are worth protecting.

We need your help to let decision makers know we don't want these trees cut down or our wetlands harmed in Canal Shores so that a real estate developer can build a road the community doesn't need.  Will you sign this petition and share it with your friends and neighbors?  We'll bring this petition with us to the hearing so your voice matters!
