Help children who fall thur cracks and can't get aid.

I am a advocate for my godchildren but Columbia SC says I am not blood so I can't get help for them . Why is this the case? They are innocent and should not pay for their parents mistakes.

I took these kids thinking the parents would get it together and now it is 13 yrs later and I have retired and my S.S. is not enough for us but Columbia SC says " You are not their blood so we can't help you" I have tried everything What Do I Do? Are you kidding me . What kind of state is this that you would take my s.s. and punish the kids i worked 45yrs to get what I have. I am these kids advocate . I need help asap!!
