Student Loan Reform

Education is claimed to be a top priority in our nation, yet millions have been severely punished for attempting to claim a higher education. Interest rates on student loans are completely unreasonable. I believe interest should not exceed 3%. I've also contemplated an idea that payments or partial payments toward your student loan can go into a 401k like fund that can build additional funds over time. This way neither the borrower or the loan company is losing out. Some nations offer free higher education to their citizens, it's a shame we can't even offer reasonable accommodations. Reform is long overdue.
