Keep Sylva's Economic Development Developing

Restaurants are a drawing card to a town, the more there are the more folks visit an area, spend money in the area and refer people to that area.  Sylva has lost many restaurants in the last few years and one of the vacant restaurants may become a non profit business, specifically a Church. Current ordinances do not allow for Church's to locate on the first floor of a B-1 district.  In this case, B-1 is our downtown area.  We are not against church's, we are against any organization, for profit or otherwise taking a valuable piece of real estate and using it for a reason other than economic development support in a business district.
