Start a third centrist party to broker our broken and bought Congress

Washington is broken and filthy with corruption.  Both parties (D & R)  are bought and are beholden to their big interest groups. A third party  needs to swear off lobby generated  and PAC money, start small. Perhaps in a few election cycles we might elect 8-10 Senators, 30-40 representatives. Both Democrats and Republicans will then need their votes to get anything passed,  and of necessity will have to come to the center.  A small centrist party can thus broker sensible center- left or center- right  legislation, including a clean-up of our corrupted system.  Democracy must come back to the people. Washington needs a good cleaning up. The common good needs to come before party ideology and special interests. If our country is to be free,  our representatives need to be free. No more buying their votes.
