In just a few months in charge of the Health and Human Services department, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has proven himself to be a clear and present danger to public health and scientific progress. In the wake of the horrific mass shooting in a Minnesota Catholic school, RFK Jr. has been baselessly blaming SSRI anti-depressant medications and saying things like "these kids that are just overburdened with mitochondrial challenges, inflammation—you can tell from their faces, movements, and lack of social connection."
This is complete, utter nonsense. RFK Jr. is not a doctor, has never been to medical school, and is systematically dismantling the public health infrastructure that keeps the American people alive. He must be fired immediately.

RFK Jr. has made it clear he has no intention of listening to experts or scientists when making decisions that could very well decide whether people live or die. "We are seven months into the new administration, and no CDC subject matter expert from my Center has ever briefed the Secretary. I am not sure who the Secretary is listening to, but it is quite certainly not to us," said the CDC Demetre Daskalakis in his resignation letter.
Under RFK Jr, the HHS is making it harder to get vaccinations while scaling back programs that prevent food-borne illness, while purging any and all officials who are actually fighting to keep people healthy. This is insanity made manifest and it must end immediately.
