Get involved and stop harassment, discrimination, and racism. We want all people in the Province of Ontario to be included in our communities and be able to have jobs and be participating members of society.

Please sign this petition to send a loud and clear message to the Ontario government that we want a community meeting that is open to the public.

The Honourable Daiene Vernile

Kitchener, Ontario N2G 1W6

Dear Ms. Vernile:

On July 4, 2016, the Ontario government decided to host community meetings across the Province to address systemic racism.

There is no meeting set up in Kitchener-Waterloo and in the CTV article on June 7, 2011, we had the highest reported hate crime in Canada. Also, there was only one event at Laurier and that was only for staff and students of the campus.

By setting up a community meeting in Kitchener-Waterloo, your sending a message to the community that we can stop all forms of racism, harassment, discrimination and bullying. Also, we can have a conversation and come up with solutions to ensure all members of our community can be involved as participating members of society.
