Give the Irish language official status in Newfoundland

- Please sign this petition to give the Irish language (Irish: Gaeilge) some sort of Official Status in Newfoundland, Canada
- Newfoundland is named "The most Irish place in the world outside of Ireland"
- It was also the only place outside of Ireland that had it's own dialect of Irish "Newfoundland Irish"
- Newfoundland is also the only place outside Europe with its own distinctive name in the Irish language, Talamh an Éisc, "The land of fish"
- Newfoundland also has a history with Ireland as lots of Irish imigrated to Newfoundland in the 1800's and they also brought there language.
- There is still Irish Communitys in Newfoundland and all over Canada so please sign it for them!
- The only place outside of Ireland that has a Gaeltacht is Canada.
- If you sign this, this could help revive the Irish language a lot more in Newfoundland
- Irish is a part of the culture and history of Newfoundland!
