Donald Trump's Department of "Justice" has announced that it is launching an investigation of New York's Attorney General, Letitia James, on the preposterous grounds that she violated his civil rights when she prosecuted him and his companies for committing buckets of felonious fraud.
Abbe Lowell, an attorney for James, said, "Investigating the fraud case Attorney General James won against President Trump and his businesses has to be the most blatant and desperate example of this administration's carrying out the president's political retribution campaign."
Our Department of Justice exists to uphold the law and prosecute criminals, not be the President's personal hit squad to be deployed against his political enemies and people he had a grudge against.
Trump was guilty of fraud, and Letitia James upheld the law. It's as simple as that. Trump needs to stop this appalling weaponization of the Justice Department ASAP!
