the eastern oyster a fundamental part in keeping the bay a clean water way allowing it to filter nutrient rich water to and polluted water. it also creates a habitat for many small fishes and organism creating a strong living environment. They say back when settlers arrived the bay was cleaned every 3 days due to the population of the oyster now it takes over a year to do the same work, we can change the bay and harbor of Baltimore it is your choice.
