Ban Cruel Experiments on Dogs, Monkeys & Other Animals

Animals have been continual victims of poisoning, mutilation and torture in the name of science and research. This is such a brutal inhumane fact. Read http://www.peta.org/action/action-alerts/urge-congress-take-action-dogs-monkeys-laboratories/?utm_campaign=072916%20PETA%20E-News&utm_source=PETA%20E-Mail&utm_medium=E-News.  According to the article, monkeys are immobilized in restraint devices, forced to become addicted to drugs, and deliberately infected with diseases. Dogs are mutilated in experimental surgeries, forced to run on treadmills until they collapse from heart attacks, selectively bred to suffer from painful and debilitating conditions such as muscular dystrophy, and more.

Tens of thousands of dogs and monkeys annually fall victim to these laboratories, living in tiny steel cages or cement cells in isolation.  Whether they are sweet domestic dogs, intelligent monkeys, rabbits, cats, rats, mice or any other animal, such treatment is clearly horrific abuse and cruelty.  Experimentation on animals is not relevant to human health and they should not be subjected to such brutality.

The purpose of this petition is to urge Congress to place a ban on the use of dogs, monkeys and other animals for experiments nationwide in favor of promising, lifesaving and pertinent non-animal research.  You can help all animals in such circumstances by signing and sharing this petition, adding your own ideas and thoughts as a voice for all victims in laboratory research and tests.

U. S. Congress – Documentation shows that monkeys are immobilized in restraint devices, forced to become addicted to drugs, and deliberately infected with diseases. Dogs are mutilated in experimental surgeries, forced to run on treadmills until they collapse from heart attacks, selectively bred to suffer from painful and debilitating conditions such as muscular dystrophy, and more. This is very troubling and horrific, clear inhumane treatment of animal abuse and cruelty.  I respectfully urge you to work to end experiments on dogs, monkeys and other animals, opting for earmark research funds for more humane and relevant non-animal studies. Please ensure that you place a ban on the use of dogs, monkeys and other animals for experiments nationwide in favor of promising, lifesaving and pertinent non-animal research.
