Doctors have an ethical code, Why shouldn't political powers have ethical limits too?

This petition proposes a simple international civic charter for elected officials.

Some places carry extraordinary meaning for millions of people !

The charter asks elected officials to accept one basic standard:

When a Political Power reaches a place, its responsibility on human rights should be based on a Doctor-Political Ethical Code.

This principle does not decide ownership, borders, sovereignty, history, religion, or political solutions.

It simply places a higher wordwide ethical duty on political power.

One important place can carry many meanings without requiring one identity.

The first goal is to gather 100 founding signatories from around the world and then invite Elected Officials Internationally to endorse the charter.

1. Protect life wherever possible.
2. Protect children and women from avoidable physical and psychological harm.
3. Protect access to food, water, medicine, shelter, sanitation, and medical care.
4. Consider long-term trauma and health effects, not only immediate outcomes.
5. When two effective options exist, prefer the one expected to cause less unnecessary human harm.
6. Do not transfer responsibility from an individual or organization to unrelated civilians.
