Fix the problem- South Carolina residents need new Social Security numbers now!

We should not have to wait around for a thief to steal from us because the state was negligent. If you are a victim of ID theft there should be a way to change your numbers and discontinue the old numbers. Why should we pay for someone's negligence or not have a way for the thieves to be stopped. It's Time for a solution.

Dear citizens of the USA, I believe we need a serious call to action. Our ID in Sc have been stolen. We have been offered one year of ID theft coverage. I believe this is a good start but not a solution. Everyone that has experienced Id theft say that it is a nightmare that they didnt ask for. I purpose that anyone that has been compromised should be granted a new Social Security number. Thank you
