In africa child trafficking and labor is a huge part of how chocolate is produced. Children are stolen away from their families and are taken to cocoa plantations and are forced to work instead of being in school and being with their families. At many plantations if the children do not work fast enough or not at all they are beaten and forced to continue working. Some children are stolen away from home under the false pretences of making money to be able to support their families with, little do they know that they will probably make no money at all and will not see their families members ever again.

You may not know that you are but you are. Mars is in the top 5 biggest chocolate companies in the world so by stopping buying products from them you can help stop children being taken away from their families and their education to go work in violent unsustainable conditions.
