Kevin McCarthy must act to keep liar George Santos from serving in Congress

Republican George Santos was elected to Congress based on a wave of lies. He lied about his eduction, his work, his religion, and pretty much everything else he campaigned on. Real leaders from across the political spectrum are calling on Santos to step aside, and not take office.

And yet Kevin McCarthy -- the Republican leader in the House -- doesn't even have the spine to comment on Santos.

Enough is enough. We are sick of giving Republicans a free pass because we expect them to be spineless. McCarthy needs to demand that Santos step aside. Immediately. And if Santos won't, McCarthy needs to get his Republican caucus to join with Democrats to expel Santos as soon as he takes office.
