Stop Namibia From Inviting Rich Hunters to Kill Endangered Black Rhinos!

The Namibian government has again called for bids from trophy hunters to kill three endangered black rhinos, despite fierce global criticism over previous auctions and despite the species' continued decline in numbers.

Since 2012, the Namibian government has sold licences each year to kill individual rhinos, and claims the money is essential to fund conservation projects and anti-poaching protection. How ironic!

Yesterday, it invited bids to kill three more rhinos during the hunting season, which ends in November. This is one of the most endangered species on the planet, and we cannot let it become extinct because rich hunters want to have a cruel adventure.

PLEASE sign and share this petition demanding that the auction be taken down. We only have until the end of June before the bidding process ends!

Dear Prime Minister Amadhila Saara Kuugongelwa,

Myself and over 94 thousand others Plead with you to stop the sale of Rhino hunting licenses.  It is proposed that 3 such licenses be sold to rich white men to slaughter your precious wildlife.  The Rhino's will soon all be gone. The wildlife that brings tourist to your land will stop coming. Everything will soon be gone. Please stop this murder of innocent animals. You have the power to save your wildlife and insure a good future for your land and people. Please give this some serious thought. I beg you in the name of our wildlife.
