USDA – Investigate Fur Farm for AWA Violations

Animal furs are beautiful and many people love to wear those furs in the form of coats, stoles, scarves and more for human pleasure.  What most people do not realize is that an animal has to give up its life, sometimes many animals for one garment to provide one item to wear.  And the way their lives are lost are most often inhumane and cruel.  Such is the case with a particular company known as the Dillenburg Fur Farm, LLC in Wisconsin.

http://headlines.peta.org/furcrueltyminksfoxesgassed/?utm_campaign=Mink%20Fox%20Investigation&utm_source=PETA%20E-Mail&utm_medium=Alert gives you more detailed information on the alleged abuse at this company. PETA has acquired some footage that shows the Dillenburg fur farm being in violations of the Animal Welfare Act.  This company is supposed to be one of the top mink-producing farms and footage has supposedly exposed the filth that their animals are kept in, living in wire-floored cages.  The animals were noted in these cages stacked on top of one another, living in piles of their own waste.  And the way the minks lost their lives was horrific and cruel.

Our efforts in this petition is to encourage the USDA to do a thorough investigation and inspection of the Dillenburg Fur Farm, LLC for any and all possible violations of the Animal Welfare Act.  This company needs to be held accountable for any of those possible violations in accordance with the findings of the investigation.  You can help us in our efforts by signing and sharing this petition.

USDA – We strongly urge you to intervene at the Dillenburg Fur Farm, LLC and implement a full investigation on their facility for any violations of the Animal Welfare Act.  According to footage presented by PETA, this company has been allegedly mistreating the animals in their facility in horrific ways.  They need to be thoroughly investigated for any AWA violations and held accountable if needed.  They additionally need to be fully monitored on a regular basis to ensure that the AWA is fully enforced and followed for the sake of these and all animals.
