provide grants until needed class is offered
I chose a two-year A.S. degree program offered by Palo Verde College, but I am now in my third year trying to complete it within the timeframe the college provides the necessary classes. During this time, I have used up all my credits to continue receiving EOPS and grants, which are vital for me to afford college. Now, at the end of my third term, I only need one more class to graduate, but the college is not offering it. I am being forced to take irrelevant classes just to stay an active student until they offer this required course they promised. and that takes up my time and makes it hard to obtain a job or pay my bills or even continue my education further. Ive tried asking director of student financial to waive those terms and allow me to recieve EOPS and grants but was denied. Next semester, I will be in my fourth term still trying to finish this two-year degree. This has placed me in a financial burden, and with their discontinuation of support, I feel stuck.
