Cap off Gasoline prices now!

Gasoline prices are insane; people are abandoning their cars on the road, riding bikes, walking, one guy in my town is even riding a horse to class. Some people are having to ask their bosses for money to get to work. This is total insanity.
Oil companies made record-breaking profits last year while many an american citizen went homeless, jobless and hungry. It's time that big-oil was shown that they can't manipulate an entire country in this way. Why can't oil prices be capped so that they don't continue to escalate? Americans can no longer afford to even look for a new job once they've lost one.
Despite the pricee of a barrel of oil dropping recently, gas stations are still charging high prices for oil that they've bought since the price dropped. People should not have to continue to pay this price. We ask that you please place a cap on the price of oil now so that companies and suppliers can no longer take advantage of Americans. Please stop the financial raping of America!
