Support New York City's Parks and Green Spaces
Hudson River Park is one of our city's most precious green spaces. With four miles of waterfront park extending from Chambers to 59th Street, the Park is filled with rich landscapes, comprehensive facilities, incredible views, and a wide array of cultural events and educational programs. However, no taxpayer dollars go toward funding the Park’s operations or maintenance.
Studies have shown that access to parks significantly decreases stress. New York can be a hectic place to live and New Yorkers deserve beautiful outdoor spaces that allow us to exercise, relax, and unwind. The benefits of having such places for families and individuals are significant, as are the consequences of allowing them to fall into disrepair.
It's imperative that we speak up and show our support for the green spaces of New York City. If you support parks and outdoor spaces in New York City like Hudson River Park, sign the pledge and take a stand today.
