Petsmart Groomer DROWNS Cat

It's not easy to drown a cat, but a Petsmart groomer found a way.

In July 2006, a cat was brought in to be groomed at the Petsmart in Abilene, Texas. The "Rescued" mother cat was "bathed" and drowned. The autopsy revealed that the cat's lungs were filled with water.

It takes more than a squirt of water to the face to drown a cat.

The groomer should be fired as well as her supervisor and the store manager.  All were involved in either the killing or they knew of the killing and 'swept it under the rug'.

The public needs to be aware of the lack of concern and cruel treatment in the store that advertises "Where Pets are Family".

(Names and numbers are available for verification.)

We, the undersigned, demand that those involved in the killing of the cat by drowning it be fired.  We will spread the word of this horrendous killing and will refuse to buy any product or service from Petsmart stores.
