VA Facility Committee Participants

We request that one our elected representatives from each level of government be assigned to the committee to study the future of Canandaigua Medical Center Campus, and with our Veterans form as an Executive Committee.
Veterans For Veteran Connection Inc. will present this petition to the Veterans and Citizens of the United States of America to be signed and to be delivered to Veterans Affairs:

An Official Petition requesting that our elected representatives be a part of the VA Facility Committee.

In regards to the formation of a committee to study the future of Canandaigua Medical Center Campus, as proposed by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, it has come to our attention that Secretary Principi has indicated that he will not allow any of our local officials or federal representatives to be on this committee.

To The Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Mr. Anthony Principi,

We as the Veterans of the United State that served and volunteered for freedom do not agree with the Secretary’s stance on this issue and therefore insist that our elected local and federal representatives be involved. We therefore respectfully request that one our elected representatives from each level of government be assigned to this committee and with our Veterans form as an Executive Committee.

As the future of all Veterans and those that are now serving depends on the honest involvement of everyone, we all need to recognize that its about accurate accountability and not once again sending mix messages the to Veterans and their families.

We therefore ask Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Mr. Anthony Principi, that if there is to be trust then let us all join in this with integrity and openness.

We ask you today to sign this petition regarding the committee that will be formed to address the issues of the Canandaigua VA Medical Center Campus. We ask you to join with us in requesting that it include our local and federal representatives be that they appointed to serve on this committee as well as the committees through out the many VA facilities in our nation that are facing similar issues, such as cut backs and schedules for closure or revamping.

This is the official petition as stated to for the call for our local, elected official and federal representatives to be assigned to the committee to be formed by Secretary of Veterans Affairs, Anthony Principi.
