Colorado: Stop Animal Abuse and Neglect

An innocent cat is shot in the heart. The killer posts graphic photos on a website.

A terrier is locked in a bathroom and slowly starved. The owners are unrepentant.

A helpless Chihuahua is hit with a switch. The trembling dog recoils in fear.

Vulnerable animals are being mistreated or neglected every day in the eight-country metro-Denver area.

Putting a stop to animal cruelty starts with people like you and me -- people willing to phone, email or text -- and tell their friends and family to be on the alert. Most of the animals described above received the second chances they deserved; for others, help arrived too late.

Sign this pledge to help the Dumb Friends League stop animal cruelty, neglect and abandonment in its tracks. Then share it with everyone you know.
