Individuals Against Animal Testing

Animal testing should be illegal. It's useless and abusive. Stop the suffering, stop the pain.
Over 18 billion dollars a year is put into animal testing. Animals are held in small metal cages. They are abused in almost every manner you can think of. This 'research' is more like inhumane torture. Many labs claim they treat their animals with the best of care, but their workers report much different. Unndercover videos and pictures show brutal beatings given to animals. Both rabbits and monkeys have been forced to chain smoke ciggarettes to see the damage done to them. Machines have been stuck into rats and cats brains. Rabbits have been shaved so that they can put new make-up products on them. Monkeys get tattoos to see those effects as well. They even get profane and rude names tattooed accross their faces. Animals are filled with toxins just to see what happens! Not only is this cruel, it's unaccurate. The effects on other animals are different then the effects on humans. Please, for more information on what really happens during animal testing, read the threads posted here: http://groups.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=groups.groupProfile&groupid=100008541&Mytoken=6AE1A00F-63B0-4A31-8A80DE8F1130062850134453

Choose what's right, end the suffering.
