Tell Congress to Fund Universal Preschool

Preschool is one of the most important factors in childhood development. Studies have shown that the benefits of preschool last a lifetime. But federal funding for early childhood education is scarce.

According to the National Education Association, children who were enrolled in preschool earn $2,000 more per month later in life than those who were not. Preschool-educated individuals are also more likely to graduate high school and become homeowners.

Compared to the rest of the developed world, the United States falls far behind in early childhood education funding. If we want to compete in the global marketplace, we need to make sure our children have the resources they need to succeed.

Congress is currently considering a bill that would significantly expand funding for early childhood education. Tell your representative to support this bill and help make sure every child has access to preschool.
