Make Jak American
This petition is to assist Jak in her long term persuit of beign allowed to work, live, and stay in the United States of America.
Jak is a very talented and unique artist and tattoo artist, has gained international acclaim, and has made many, many friends throughout the UK and the USA.
The current immigration laws are so strict and restrictive, that the only way Jak can even hope to apply to stay in the states, is either spend 4 years earning a degree she doesn't need for the H-1b work visa, that will most likely be denied due to the fact she does not come under the catagory of 'specialist occupation', or to marry someone she does not love.
Jak has spent the last 4 years travelling in and out of the US, sometimes three times a year, in order to make contacts, friends and allies in a place she desperately wants to call home.
She has made many friends, had multipul work offers and has a stable and reliable place to stay, alas, the way the immigration system works, is the only thing preventing her from making a wonderful, fulfiling and successful life for herself.
With this petition, it is my hope that we can open the eyes and ears of the US Immigration to let them see how wanted Jak is, and just how much she wants to become an American citizen, and perhaps get her over the pond for good.
