Stop Playing Partisan Games on Climate Change

  • by: NDP
  • recipient: Environment Minister Leona Aglukkaq
Instead of taking action to combat climate change, the new Conservative Environment minister used the latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report to launch partisan attacks.

The IPCC reported that we have significant evidence climate change is caused by human activity. It called on countries around the world to take action. But instead of doing just that, Minister Aglukkaq used the report to attack the NDP.

It's time to stop playing political games when it comes to climate change. The truth is that Canada is still falling far behind its 2020 target to reduce greenhouse gases. Please sign the petition to call for real action on climate change, not partisan games.
