Create a Pathway to Citizenship for Immigrant Communities!

While the pandemic shut down the world and many sheltered in place, millions of immigrant people went to work to keep us safe as healthcare workers, farm workers, and caretaker professionals.

Each day immigrant people keep the U.S. running with basic necessities. Yet each day, 11 million people worry about being detained and deported. Our immigrant communities deserve a pathway to citizenship.

Sojourners' mission is Faith in Action for Social Justice. As people of faith, we believe our immigration laws should honor the God-given dignity of every person, protect family unity, and promote thriving communities.

Our essential workers deserve essential rights so that no person in the U.S. lives in fear of losing their home, family, or community.

Sign and join Sojourners to demand bipartisan passage of the U.S. Citizenship Act to create a pathway to citizenship for our immigrant communities.
Dear [Decision Maker],

As people of faith, we believe our immigration laws should honor the God-given dignity of every person, protect family unity, and promote thriving communities.

[your comment] I urge you to pass the U.S. Citizenship Act to create a pathway to citizenship for our immigrant communities. It is vital for our economy that we champion our essential workers and ensure they can become citizens.

Sincerely,
[Your name]
