Halt the Legislation Banning Low-Carb Marketing
Health Canada wants to ban all low-carb marketing from appearing on food packaging or in restaurants by December 2005. We want to stop this decision from becoming a reality.
Health Canadas legislation to ban low-carb labeling on foods is based on uneducated opinions and inaccurate information. We, the Canadian people, collectively agree that we do not need the Canadian Government to dictate what we are allowed to purchase. We feel that as an educated, informed society, we are capable of making decisions based on our own knowledge-base. By signing our name to this petition, we protest the legislation that limits our freedom of choice, a decision that was based on the opinions of misinformed politicians.
