Demand they route the road properly! With minimal further disruption.

The drop off point for the new school by Tatenhill has been built on the opposite side of the main road. They have created a safety issue that could have been totally avoided and are making road users pay for it indefinitely.

Despite the epic mess we have endured. See news article- https://www.burtonmail.co.uk/news/local-news/villagers-tatenhill-angry-branston-road-754780
They have engineered an ongoing problem for us:
A safety issue for kids attending the new school, where there didn't need to be one. Kids will be dropped off in the area on the opposite side of the Branston Road. They had a clean sheet opportunity to avoid this but decided against it on cost saving grounds.
The result for the rest of us is daily disruption morning and evening, a raised crossing (speed bump) that will damage our cars, and general speed restrictions.
I am all for safety but you don't start out by creating a problem in the first place.
As they have to put in the surface and route for the drop off point there can't be that much of a cost saving that it warrants making us all suffer indefinitely and creating a safety problem.
I found the notices for the intended works on the already closed section of road in Tatenhill. Are they trying their hardest to pull a fast one?!
Lets put our voices together to let them know what we think and demand a change
