The food is already paid for. It could feed over a million children for a week. And yet these monsters are planning to incinerate it instead:

Nearly 500 metric tons of emergency food—enough to feed about 1.5 million children for a week—are set to expire tomorrow, according to current and former government employees with direct knowledge of the rations. How horrible does someone have to be to destroy the food rather than let hungry people eat it?
They are trying to do this in secret. Don't let them.
