Earthquakes, floods and hurricanes are hitting harder and faster than ever.
These natural disasters can shatter a child's world.
The U.S. has always responded the moment crisis strikes, providing emergency care when families need it most.
Without rapid support, millions may not survive. Tell Congress to fund humanitarian aid!
Earthquakes, tornados and flash floods strike without warning – instantly shattering a child's world.
This summer, devastating earthquakes ripped through Venezuela and Colombia. Just weeks ago, catastrophic flash floods wiped out entire communities in Nepal. Each incident killed, injured and displaced thousands.
As a Save the Children Action Network advocate, I'm proud that our nation has always been first on the scene to save lives and help families recover. To continue responding rapidly and effectively, we need a robust pipeline of available funding ready to go.
The House passed FY27 National Security, Department of State and Related Programs (NSRP) bill funded International Humanitarian Assistance at $5 billion, down $400 million from FY26. I ask that you support a higher number in the final FY27 bill.
Even a small increase over the current funding level would allow the U.S. to be more responsive when kids and families are caught in crisis.
Please fund the International Humanitarian Assistance account at more than $5 billion in the final FY27 NSRP bill.
Thank you for helping children survive sudden disasters.
