Ban Horse Tripping and Hot shotting In Nevada

Shocking video captured at the Winnemucca Annual Charreada on April 30, 2011. Not only shows horse tripping to be alive and well in a state that claims to not have it, but also that horses are downed, injured, prodded with electric cattle prods, used over and over in repeated events, and are not given water throughout an entire day of events. Blatant abuse to these horses, which are obvious domestics, is in no way in the spirit of a true rodeo and rodeo sportsmanship. Help us stop animal abuse in Nevada
We the undersigned request that these inhumane tortures of animal abuse be legally banned in the state of Nevada. Horse tripping is an event where a horse is released; the participant ropes the horse's front legs, and brings it to the ground. Horse tripping often causes the horse to break its legs or neck, and could potentially lead to death. State Senator Allison Copening  sponsored a bill this session to outlaw horse tripping in Nevada, but SB 364 died in committee last month  and she's is trying to put the horse tripping ban into other legislation still alive in the state legislature to make sure the tripping doesn'tcontinue. Please help Senator Allison Copening get this bill passed SB # 364
