We are Australians, who find Antony Loewenstein completely offensive, annoying and wrong.

We recognise the rights of all people to live in peace, however unlike Antony and his friends, realise that singling out the victims of terrorism for abuse, is unhelpful.

We also recognise, that when writing a book or articles about Israel, it pays to know "what the hell you are talking about".

We know that Tzipi Livni is a woman, not a man.

When we make a really stupid mistake and are caught out, we admit it and don't automatically assume we are being picked on by a big bad buwwy.

We are honest enough to say what we think, and not water down a petition, concealing our true beliefs in order to con well-meaning lefties  who don't know us very well into signing it. For example, if we were vehemently opposed to a Jewish state, we would have the intellectual honesty to say so, and not later lie about caring deeply for Israel.

We protest, that this petition will not receive anywhere near the publicity of the so-called "Independent Australian Jewish Voices" (AKA Jews for Genocide), even though, upon reaching its target number of signatures, it will have more signatures than theirs. Ours will probably even be made up of real people!

However, we are also mature enough to realise, that just because nobody cares what we think, doesn't automatically mean we are being "silenced" or "vilified". We also know, that if we frequently make stupid mistakes, just because someone calls us "stupid" doesn't automatically mean their argument is invalid and they are a bully.

We are not giant hypocrites and if we had made a career out of insisting we were silenced and censored, would not censor dissenting voices on our own blog (if we had one).

If someone in our family lets us stay at their place, we don't abuse them later.

We are smart enough to know that if our opinion was massively unpopular, the fact people vigorously disagree is not the same as vilification. However, we suspect our opinion in this case, will be popular.

We believe people who read too much Noam Chomsky, are likely to have their brain turn mushy, befriend Antony and consequently fall into this category subsequently contributing little to Australia's advancement.

We think Jewish people are often cool and support the State of Israel and its people's right to live in peace, prosperity and security. We recognise that this can't easily happen as long as Islamists wish death to the Jews. We think anybody who doesn't recognise this, or worse, disproportionately blames the Jews for this predicament, is (put simply) an idiot. At best.

We deeply regret that such idiots are frequently published in the Australian media, particularly when their publication is vastly disproportionate to their popularity.

Oh, and we also think Sheik Hilaly is a dick.
