The time has come for the Electoral College in the United States to be abolished. The electoral college hurts America. Allow the officials in the college are directly elected in a manner specified by their respected states, average citizens lose much influence after that.
Big companies, corporations, and the wealthy individuals can sometimes get the electoral college to vote for the President, Vice President, or another official that they want giving them control of the country. This often prevents the canidate that the majority of Americans voted for is not selected for office.
The American people are the true government within the United States Of America. Therefore we deserve to have direct say in government and directly elected all our officials and leaders. Sign this petition telling the United States Congress to amend Article II of the United States Constitution and abolish the electoral college is entirely abolished in every way, shape, or form.
Additionally can you please sign the petition to repeal the 22nd Amendment and to add the 28th Amedment to the United States Constitution which will abolish terms limits for the President Of The United States and make laws apply equally to all Americans at the links below. If an official is a good one they should get to hold their office until they commit an act against the United States and are voted out by Congress or their voting records change and they are directly voted out by the American people. If laws are good enough for the average American citizen they are good enough for members of Congress and should equally apply to them since we are all Americans. We the undersigned ask that you please amend the Article II of the United States Constitution to abolish the Electoral College in every way, shape, or form. With the political issues that exist in the present day the college does nothing but cause harm to America.
