This Cafe is Dangerously Dyeing Dogs' Fur!

A pet cafe in Southern China has caused a big stir online by dyeing 6 chow chows to look like pandas.

Whenever a human alters an animal's appearance for purely cosmetic reasons, it's cruel. For example, tail docking and ear cropping have no health benefits, they are inhumane practices to make dogs look a certain way. The same goes for dyeing a dog's fur to make it look a certain way! Dogs are companions and sentient beings, not accessories to be treated like objects.

That's why what this cafe owner did is so gross. The 6 chow chow that were dyed to look like pandas did not deserve this treatment. Chow chows, like all dogs, are abordable in their own way. And more importantly, they should not be used to entertain humans. The owner says the dye is organic but we have no way to know for sure. Plus, even if it was "organic", that doesn't mean it didn't hurt the animals. As any human who has dyed their hair knows, there is sometimes pain involved with the process.

Please sign the petition telling the owner of the cafe to never abuse an animal in this way again!
