The North Crest hockey arena has been apart of peterborough for the past 40 years or so, built in 1967 which means the arena is pretty old and you would think the arena is a lot older once your on the property or once you step inside.Everything in the arena is out dated and not in good condition with the change rooms the same size as your average bedroom at home that cant hold full hockey teams and a single dirty shower attached to the room. the lighting is very dimm and not welcoming to visitors with the watching rooms as cold as the ice surface.
This petiton is not to tare down the North Crest hockey arena but to just do some major improvments and renovations to make it more welcoming to spectators, visitors and players. The reason why i feel it shouldnt be torn down and just have renovations is because the arena has been around for a while and holds many memories for most and the ice there is one of the best around Peterborough to skate on.
