Vietnam Airlines: Stop shipping monkeys to their doom.

Imagine being ripped away from your family, thrown into a small wooden crate and shipped as cargo thousands of miles away to an unknown fate. That is the nightmare that many monkeys live every day as they are caught in the wild, sent around the world and used as test subjects in laboratories.

In 2013 Vietnam Airlines joined several other national carriers when they publicly stated they would no longer participate in this cruel practice. Animal rights organizations applauded their decision to leave. But in 2016 Vietnam Airlines was caught breaking their own prohibition!

Animal rights organizations learned that last year Vietnam Airlines had shipped several primates to Russia for unmentionable experiments now it's time for those of us that want to end this barbaric institution to once again, take action.

People just like you and I have already made a difference. Several airlines, after pressure from those who care about animal welfare, have already stopped their participation in this industry. And together we can do it again.

Join me in asking Vietnam Airlines to honor their promise to stop shipping monkeys for animal testing.

Dear Mr. Doung,

I am troubled that Vietnam Airlines has gone back on its word to ban the shipment of monkeys for the cruel practice of animal testing. Please stick to your 2013 promise to cease this activity. Your company can set an example by not participating for the few other airlines who have ignored our calls to end primate shipments for animal testing.
