Truck drivers in this Country is slowly declining because companies don't want to pay what they should be paying truck drivers. Our paychecks looks a-lot smaller after taxes. We go away from home for weeks at a time to ensure that this country gets their deliveries so families can feed them selves. While most of these companies are only paying us less than 0.50$ a mile. It may seems like a lot but trust me we spend about 20$ a day on food along.We don't receive hourly pay, we get paid by the miles that we drive. Most of us drives between 8-10 Hours on a daily basis while meeting the fast paced demands that our country needs from us. Without us truckers this countries economy would collapse in a heart beat. The less truckers we have in this country the high the cost of living will rise. Think about it guys, From the food you eat to the gas you put in your automobiles were delivered by a truck driver. Our jobs are very demanding and dangerous while supplying the country with our nations needs, everyone wants to put the blame on the trucker when an issue arrises. On some days when we don't have loads or when we are waiting on a load, we don't have a pay check. From Weather conditions to driving conditions, we don't even get hazard pay. We spend over 5000$ just to get our Commercial driver licenses. Come on guys let's all rally up, especially if you are a trucker or someone who supports truck drivers let's make this go viral and bring this attention to the right people who can help us make a difference.
