It's the epitome a capitalistic dystopia when there is a natural disaster and coorporations don't help. But that's exactly what is happening at a
Walmart parking lot in California.
Sign the petition to ask Walmart to do their part and let all survivors have anything they want from the store.It is great that this Chico, California Walmart is allowing their parking lot to be used. However, they are a giant coorporation that makes a ton of money. It would be so easy for them to help the nearly 1000 people living in their parking lot.
If we are going to consider coorporations as kings in our society, then they must pull their weight in giving back, especially in times of unavoidable natural disasters.
The people living in the parking lot have lost everything: homes, cars, clothing, sometimes even people and pets as the death toll has now risen above 50. It's time for our country to come together and truly support those in need and Walmart can easily do that.
Please sign my petition asking that Walmart opens their doors completely to the evacuees living in their parking lot.
