The marketing director at a Miami night club called the Mokai Lounge had the bright idea to bring in a live horse onto the dance floor. The police shut the whole thing down and the club owner is complying with the investigation. But the man who arranged the stunt still has his job.
Sign on if you think this man should lose his job over this gross animal negligence. There are multiple videos of the white horse being paraded in to the nightclub, carrying a man and a woman. Then the horse falls and bucks the woman off. Obviously the horse is in distress. Anyone who knows anything about horses knows a loud nightclub with people drinking is the wrong place for a horse. I'm surprised the horse didn't kick anyone.
The whole stunt was irresponsible and did not take the horse's wellbeing into mind at all. The police have said the horse is unharmed, but they did revoke the club's business license and are investigating for animal cruelty. The club owner is going along with everything, but still hasn't fired the bozo who arranged it all.
Marketing and doing something 'out there' is one thing, putting a horse in danger and distress for your gain is reprehensible.
