Plastic six pack rings may seem harmless and they are great to pack your favorite cans of beer, but they are literally killing (marine) wildlife. With new materials, this can stop.
We live a stone throw away from the Mediterranean sea where we always loved to dive. Unfortunately we see more and more plastic waste in our seas. Did you know that more than 8 million tons of plastic are dumped into our seas every year? That is roughly 1 truck load every minute.
With the help of some engineering friends we developed a new packaging material made out of recycled paper, reinforced with bio fibers. This packaging falls apart in 24-30 hours when fully submerged and can even be safely eaten by wildlife.
We are not here to make any profit, companies can use our formula free of charge. But we need to convince breweries to stop using plastic for their packaging.
We need your help to protect our Seas for all the animals for who the sea is their home, but also for ourselves and our children.
